European crisis protocol
How do you communicate when your company has factories, staff and customers on both sides of a war in Europe?

The situation
When Russia invaded Ukraine, Henkel, a multinational with facilities in both countries had to decide what to say, to whom and when, across several countries, cultures and languages. Every message carried economic, social and reputational risk.
What we did
We gave the leadership team knowledge, analysis and interpretation of the information they needed to decide. That meant analysing social media trends in real time to set courses of action for corporate communication, designing digital communication that respected conflicting interests and cultural sensitivities, and responding to misinformation attacks while implementing the corporation's directives discreetly.
Tools
Compliance audits and assessments, dynamic goal mapping, data-driven insight and decision-making support at C-level.
